General terms and conditions

Prices

Our prices always include VAT and any other taxes, excluding any delivery costs. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer (including typographical errors) are not binding. We reserve the right to make changes to our offers at any time.

Order

We carefully do our best to deliver the order to you as soon as possible. Delivery. Orders placed on weekdays before 12:00 PM (noon) are shipped the same day. However, we're not always able to meet this deadline; sometimes products are out of stock, and delivery may take a little longer. An estimated delivery time is listed on the product page. If, for any reason, we are unable to meet this delivery time, we will, of course, inform you as soon as possible.

Example 1 – I want to order 3 dining room chairs, what are my delivery costs?

Dining room chairs are subject to standard delivery charges, so the total delivery of these 3 chairs is €7.95.

Example 2 – I want to order 2 dining room chairs and a box of springs, what are my delivery costs?

Dining room chairs are subject to standard shipping costs, but the box spring is considered an "XL product." You only pay shipping costs per order. In this case, you pay shipping costs for the largest product (box packaging), so the total shipping cost for these three products is €59.95.

Our products are usually large and heavy, delivery costs are unavoidable.


When will my order be delivered?

The shipping service will send you the delivery date you specified. You can find your selected delivery date on your order confirmation. Delivery days are Monday through Saturday. Delivery is not possible on Sundays or public holidays. You cannot select the time yourself; the courier will create a schedule and inform you in due time with a 3-4 hour window.

On the morning of the selected delivery date, you will receive a message from the shipping company about the expected delivery time.

Note: Delivery is then fixed and cannot be changed. If you still wish to choose a different delivery date at this stage, there will be a charge.

Warranty and complaints

Warranty

We don't assume it, but it's possible that something is wrong with your item. In all cases, we will do our best to resolve this for you. We request that you report this within two days of delivery. For warranty issues, please contact our customer service at klachten@furnihaus.nl . You can do this by phone or email. Please have your order number or invoice number ready, as we need it to help you quickly. Please include photos, as this will help us assist you even faster.

Standard 1 year warranty

Furnihaus offers a standard 1-year warranty. If the product is damaged or breaks sooner than usual, the warranty period applies. Contact us, and we'll work with you to find a suitable solution.
This warranty applies only to dining room chairs used in private residential environments and not in commercial hospitality venues.
Chairs used in the hospitality industry, such as restaurants, cafes, hotels, or other logical settings, are not covered by the warranty.

Warranty Exceptions

Unfortunately, we can't offer the standard warranty period for every item we sell. Certain items have a different warranty period. For example, showroom models may have a different (shorter) warranty period. You'll often receive a substantial discount on these items, but with a shorter, but very reasonable, warranty period. A different warranty period may also apply to products that might reasonably be expected to have a different warranty period. Don't worry, the different warranty period is clearly and explicitly stated on the product itself (and on your invoice).

Payment method

You can pay for your order in several ways. We currently offer the following payment methods:

  • IDEAL If you choose to pay via iDEAL, you'll be redirected to your own secure banking environment after completing your order. The payment order will be ready for you there. Once you've completed the payment order, your order is paid. You'll then return to our website and receive an order confirmation. If you choose iDEAL, in-stock items will be delivered immediately.
  • MASTERCARD OR VISA You can pay for your order safely and easily with your credit card (Visa or MasterCard). You can securely enter your credit card information through our secure website, and we'll work with your credit card provider to ensure correct processing. When you choose to pay by credit card, in-stock items will be delivered immediately.
  • PAYPAL: You can pay via our email address using PayPal. You can use a credit card, bank account, or a balance on your PayPal account. After placing your order, you can select PayPal as your preferred payment method. You will then be redirected to PayPal, where the payment order will be ready for you. PayPal will ask you to enter some information to authorize the payment. The amount will be debited from your PayPal account immediately. If you choose PayPal, in-stock items will be delivered immediately.


Return

You might sometimes want to return an order. Perhaps you're not satisfied with the product, or perhaps there's another reason why you don't want it. Whatever the reason, you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason, provided it's an in-stock model. 

Caution: You may not use the product.

Return within the cooling-off period

  • Check that your item is complete, undamaged, and in mint condition. Make sure the item is properly and securely packaged.
  • Complete the return form and send it to retour@furnihaus.nl
  • We will provide you with information on how to return the item.

Please note: Return shipping costs are at your own expense. You can also arrange this through our service; the cost may vary, averaging €9.95 per label.
Returns are at the buyer's risk. This means that Furnihaus cannot be held liable for damage or loss of your items during return shipping.

We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of registering your return, provided the product has already been returned in good order.

If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged beyond what's necessary to try it out, we may charge you for the reduction in value. Therefore, please handle the product with care and ensure it is properly packaged when returning it.

Exchange product?

Would you like to exchange your product? That's no problem. You can contact us at info@furnihaus.nl . However, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
